International Yoga Day




International Yoga day was celebrated at St Joseph's High School. Mr Charles and Esha highlighted the importance and merits of Yogh in the daily life of every student. Mr Esha tought various yogasanas to the students. The entire program lasted for 60 minutes. The Headmaster thanked the resource persons for guiding the students
Felicitation to Mr H P Swaroop, Alumnus of St Joseph's & MLA- Hassan








St Joseph's High School, Hassan, honored the newly-elected MLA of Hassan Mr Swaroop HP, who also happens to be the alumnus of our School. The Felicitation Program began at 10.30 am and ended at 11 am. The program began with the School Anthem, '¨É¼ÀV¸ÀÄ ¨Á¼À£ÀÄ ©ÃgÀÄvÀ PÁAw'. Mr Peter A Lobo, the Assistant Headmaster was also the teacher of the MLA during his school days, spoke about the old student Mr Swaroop. The Secretary of the Management, Dr Daniel Fernandes called on the new MLA to continue to be simple, humble and service-oriented, just like his dad Mr HS Prakash who also was our alumnus and four-term MLA of Hassan. Many old students were also present during the program. St Joseph's Institute wishes all the best to Mr Swaroop in his service to the people of Hassan.
School Reopening






The School Re Opened on May 29th for the academic year 2023-24. The program began witha a school anthem. The newly admitted students were welcomed by the Headmaster. The newly appointed staff members Ms Monisha A, Ms Fouzia, Ms Jenifer Shery Pinto and Ms Divya D F were introduced to the students. Mr Peter Lobo introduced the rules and regulations of the school to the students. The program ended with the National Anthem.

Staff orientation program was organised at the beginning of the academic year 2023-24 Dr Vincent A was the resource person who enlightened the teachers on teaching pedagogy and classroom management
Election of SPL and ASPL
Election of SPL and ASPL was held on June 9 2023 Master Sadath Ahmed was elected the SPL and Ms Minugu C Chidu was elected the ASPL of the school for 2023-24



School Results
St Joseph's High School secured 100% results in the English medium sections and 96% in kannada medium section with overall 99% results for the academic year 2022-23. There were 38 distinctions. Master Mubarak Pasha of 10E was the school topper scoring 599 marks

Leadership Camp





The student council of St Joseph’s High school, Hassan, had a three day leadership training camp in Bangalore from November 19-21. They were accompanied by the Headmaster, Fr Henry saldanha S J and two teachers. Fr Maxim Dias S J. coordinated the input sessions from various resource persons. The camp was inaugurated by Fr Maxim Dias and Fr Rohan Almeida S J at St Joseph’s School, CBSE. The students had an exposure to our Jesuit University, BJES Institutions and other city Jesuit institutions too. The student council enjoyed and truly appreciated the hospitality and care from all the Jesuit communities and institutions in Bangalore. They have come back rich in experience.
Children's day
The students of our campus had a fun-filled time on the occasion of children's day. The staff conducted various fun games. The food counter was also an addition to the celebration where the children filled their stomachs with sumptuous meals and snacks. In the afternoon, a film was screened for all the students which were produced by our own alumni.
ಕನ್ನಡವೇ ಹಸಿರು - ಕನ್ನಡವೇ ಉಸಿರು ಎಂಬ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1 ರಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದೆವು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರೀಟಪ್ಪ ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಥಿತಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು-ನುಡಿ- ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಾದ ಫಾದರ್ ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹ SJ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃಂದದವರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ
St Joseph's High School celebrated 75th Independence day by hoisting the flag from the 13th to 15th of August. various competitions were held for the students to bring out their patriotism. On the 15th of August, Mr Uday Ravi, the editor of Prathinidhi, (a Kannada regional newspaper) was the chief guest and unfurled the national flag.




This year is very significant for all the Jesuits as we are celebrating the 500th year anniversary of the conversion of the heart of St Ignatius. on 31 July 2022, we conclude this Jubilee celebration. the main theme of this jubilee year is "To see all things New in Christ"
As the followers of St Ignatius, we are called to see everything new; the newness in us makes us better persons so that we can become men and women for the service of others. Keeping in mind all these intentions, our school organized "LOYOLA WEEK" - a set of various competitions that would enable our students to bring out their talents and recognize their potential. some glimpses of the events are here below...
